11/11/16 : Taking A Trip with The Meyer Dancers

We're very aware that we're taking AGES to get album number two done! :-) But I promise we really are making good progress (but even so, don't expect it soon!) We have 18 tracks to choose from, with about 2/3 of them recorded or partially recorded. It's all sounding great - it'll be worth the wait I promise!

We're playing an acoustic set at The Meyer Dancers: Santa Takes A Trip on the 10th Dec, details and tickets here: https://www.facebook.com/events/937695476374941/.

1/6/16 : Festivals 2016

A few festival announcements!

18/6/2016 we'll be playing at Wildfire Festival (9:30pm, Campfire stage). 30/7/2016 we'll be playing at Leefest Festival: The Neverland... almost certainly the band who have played at Leefest more times than any other band! And the day after on 31/7/2016 we'll be playing on the main stage at this years Chilled In A Field festival.

12/2/16 : Like Someone In Love

For everyone on Valentines Day - our cover of the classic 'Like Someone In Love' written in 1944 by Jimmy Van Heusen, with lyrics by Johnny Burke and made famous by Bing Crosby in March 1945.

You can download the track for free from our bandcamp page.

Lyrics: Lately, I find myself out gazing at stars, Hearing guitars like someone in love, Each time I look at you, I'm limp as a glove, And feeling like someone in love. Lately I seem to walk as though I have wings, Bump into things like someone in love, Sometimes the things I do astound me, Mostly whenever you're around me. Lately I seem to walk as though I had wings, Bump into things like someone in love, Each time I look at you, I'm light as a cloud, And feeling like someone in love.

30/11/15 : Christmas show - The Magic Garden

It's time for a special Christmas show! We'll be playing a free show at The Magic Garden on the day before the day before Christmas. We're going to keep it upbeat and probably chuck in a Christmas cover... come along for a mince pie and a pint.

It's been a fun year! We've written literally more songs than we can remember (seriously, we have so many demo recordings of half finished, or promising songs that we don't know what to do with them all!) and we've started to finish off quite a few of them - including a recent recording session. We released 'Fine Afternoon' in the summer too, and Dan joined our ranks as our new drummer, after Jonny bravely moved away to the other side of the world! So we're going to be plunging into 2016 with all guns blazing...

19/8/15 : Fine Afternoon

We've been working hard on new tracks and are now ready to start letting some of them out into the big wide world... You can listen to or download our summer single 'Fine Afternoon' for free from Soundcloud or Bandcamp now!

Fine Afternoon is an optimistic break-up song. It's for two people who have realised they're best friends, and that there's no need to forget all the good times.

And catch us live on Weds 19th Aug at the Folkroom Fortnightly.

We're chuffed to have our track 'Fara Fara' included on the EardrumsPop 5 year anniversary compilation!

You can listen to and download the compilation here

It's FREE and has an amazing tracklisting - so many great bands on there - definitely give it a listen! And... as Eardrums say... please give the compilation a 'share' and spread the good music around!xx

12/12/14 : 2000 Miles - featuring Emilie Cheshire

It's Christmas cover time again! And this year we bring you... 2000 Miles! A cover of the song by The Pretenders (not The Proclaimers), with guest vocals by Emilie Cheshire.

You can download the track for free from our bandcamp page.

And remember that our debut album 'Three Cheers For the Undertaker' is available on limited edition gatefold CD or as a digital download... a great Christmas present!
